This fresco depicts the glorious and pathetic life of Moli\u00e8re. Romanticized, invented, or false, it is inspired by the most famous French troupe leader. \u201cWe are not Moli\u00e8re, but our art is the same,\u201d says the prologue. Driven by the excellent multi-talented troupe of Simon Falgui\u00e8res, the cavalcade of characters drawn from the most iconic plays appears alongside historical or fictional figures and Moli\u00e8re himself. While the chronology is respected from L\u2019\u00c9tourdi ou les Contretemps<\/em> to Le Malade imaginaire<\/em>, the scenes follow one another at a frantic pace, far from any plausibility. Moli\u00e8re and His Masks<\/em> reconnects with popular farce.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n \r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n<\/section><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Living the life of a theatre troupe while adapting a great literary epic? Why not! Born out of the Studio-Th\u00e9\u00e2tre in Asni\u00e8res-sur-Seine, Collectif 49 701\u2014led by Clara H\u00e9douin and Jade Herbulot\u2014takes on Alexandre Dumas\u2019 hit serial and turns it into an epic, immersive, and unconventional theatrical saga. A blockbuster ahead of its time, this first cycle of The Three Musketeers<\/em> unfolds over three modular seasons, totaling around twenty episodes of about 30 minutes each. Songs, vocal games, and stories form a treasure trove of compositions, musical and linguistic inventions. The weaving of sounds and words is enriched by texts from Robert Desnos, Yannick Jaulin, Mich\u00e8le Buirette, and other light and colorful writers. Vibraphone, toys, accordion, sound objects, and various percussion instruments make up the orchestra that accompanies the songs. The third study of a work composed of small forms centered around Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, Moli\u00e8re Summer<\/em> reconnects with the itinerant years of the Illustre Th\u00e9\u00e2tre. Moli\u00e8re\u2019s troupe becomes a family united by adversity and the playwright writes his first texts. Bless Lukombo explores the theme of celebration. Weddings, birthdays, and lively parties filled with music and dance resonate deeply with his Congolese culture. Bless orchestrates an unprecedented encounter between F\u00e9dotik, a character from Anton Chekhov\u2019s Three Sisters<\/em>, and the artist Papa Wemba, an undisputed icon of SAPE (the Society of Ambianceurs and Elegant People). With this first opus, Bless Lukombo, now in his second year, aims to promote inclusive theatre where racialized communities and Black individuals are represented.
