El Yiyo<\/strong>
A mi Aire<\/em> – 1h<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miguel Fern\u00e1ndez Ribas, known as El Yiyo<\/em>, has been dancing flamenco since the age of seven. A mi aire<\/em> (2025), or \u201cin my own way,\u201d<\/em> is an intimate journey. Accompanied by two singers and three musicians, the artist preserves the essence of flamenco while offering a deeply personal interpretation\u2013visceral, free, and passionate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liminal<\/em> – 1h<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through an experimental and exploratory approach, the Andalusian artist fuses flamenco with contemporary dance. Moving between shadow and light, past and present, the collective and the intimate, Liminal<\/em> (2019) stages the deeply personal appropriation of flamenco by a free-spirited dancer, in constant dialogue with her singer and guitarist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eduardo Guerrero
<\/strong>Desplante<\/em> – 1h20<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally from C\u00e1diz, Eduardo Guerrero trained in both classical and contemporary dance. Blending different styles of flamenco, the artist pays tribute here to the quej\u00edos<\/em> (\u201ccries\u201d or \u201claments\u201d) of 19th-century Levantine miners, making Desplante<\/em> (2015) a powerful and lyrical performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus Carmona
<\/strong>Baile de Bestias <\/em>– 1h<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally from Barcelona and for several years a principal dancer with the Spanish National Ballet, Jes\u00fas Carmona returns in Baile de Bestias<\/em> (2021), or \u201cDance of Beasts,\u201d<\/em> to a primal form of movement. Through an evolving dialogue with multi-instrumentalist Manu Masaedo, the inner beasts are gradually tamed, transforming into emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tiempos<\/em> – 1h25<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For her production Tiempos<\/em>, Catalan artist Bel\u00e9n L\u00f3pez is joined by two dancers, Paul Vaquero and Jos\u00e9 Carmona, several guitarists and singers, and a percussionist. In perfect symbiosis, the performers draw every note, every gesture, and every silence toward the collective whole they form\u2013embodying the very magic of flamenco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Alter Ego<\/em>, created in 2023 with Patricia Guerrero and performed here with Andalusian dancer Paula Comitre, Alfonso Losa explores the way two bodies\u2013seeking one another, finding one another, and teaching one another\u2013can give rise to a third, both real and abstract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
