Two works in which gesture becomes revelation. Between instinctive impulsion and deep listening, dance brings forth the invisible – what pulsates, what silently reverberates beneath the surface.

MELLINA BOUBETRA AND JULIE COMPANS · NYST · 50 min.
In NYST, Mellina Boubetra and Julie Compans probe what remains concealed beneath the surface of a gesture. One dances while the other describes. Together, they explore what the body does not formulate, what words allow us otherwise to perceive. Between dance and audio description, their dialogue reveals the invisible, gives voice to what we fail to grasp, and opens up a listening space where perceptions shift.

LÉA VINETTE · Éclats · Premiere in 2026 · 50 min. · INITIATIVES D’ARTISTES
In Éclats (Bursts), Léa Vinette brings together three performers to explore a body traversed by desires, fears, and impulses. Between attentive listening and raw impulses, the choreography conjures a visceral dance, brimming with tensions that stretch, collide, and look for a way to push through: an unstable balance in which emotion overflows and instinct rises to the surface. An invitation to giving in, to the unpredictable, to letting the living matter of movement resonate.
This production benefits from La Villette’s Initiatives d’Artistes programme, which supports creation and distribution, accompanying artists throughout their process up to the realization of their performances.
