An emblematic figure of the Parisian house scene, Tijo Aimé draws his roots from hip-hop culture and discovered house music in the 1990s. Founder of the Atmosphère parties and the Spirit N’move project, he has performed on major French and international stages, blending music and dance with a unique signature style.
Immersed from a young age in hip-hop culture thanks to his DJ and dancer brothers, Tijo discovered house music in the early 1990s through hip-house, which naturally led him to explore house dance. Alongside his dance practice, he developed a deep passion for music, inspired by DJ Deep’s radio shows on Radio Nova. He soon began collecting vinyl records and building his own musical identity. After a trip to New York, he launched the Spirit N’move project in Paris, then founded the Atmosphère parties in 2004, with support from major artists like DJ Deep and DJ Rork. These events played a key role in the rise and structuring of the Parisian house scene. Tijo has performed in iconic Paris venues and shared the stage with renowned international artists. His career has taken him to Sweden, Japan, the UK, and major Parisian stages such as Rex Club, Concrète, and the Weather Festival. Recognized for his musical expertise and deep connection to dance, he is regularly invited to play at leading international house dance events, including Juste Debout, Summer Dance Forever, Flavorama, and Random Circle.
