ALL4HOUSE
1 music for every dance, 1 house for every culture
The concept for ALL 4 HOUSE was envisioned by Ousmane “Babson” SY in 2014, who sought to bring together artists engaged in different dance styles for the same kind of music, namely HOUSE.
This music represents a bridge between communities due to its multiple influences and trends. It also brings various generations together, because it is a symbol of transition between traditional or retro musical styles and contemporary and emerging forms of music.
ALL 4 HOUSE comprises several concepts:
• The ALL 4 HOUSE-MASTER CHALLENGE: an exhibition battle with teams specifically formed for this occasion with dancers renowned for their mastery of their discipline. No winners, just an artistic platform where participants come together and square off for the pleasure of performing.
• The ALL 4 HOUSE-ALL STYLES CHALLENGE: a conceptual battle to explore commitment and identity through various selection stages. Once again, all styles are welcome in the style of HOUSE music and are judged by artists and dancers renowned for their mastery of their discipline.
The Festival LEGASY was created in collaboration with the City of Antony and the AZIMUT Theatre in 2025 by Oumar “Barou” SY and Kenny CAMMAROTA, who are close to Ousmane “Babson” SY, as a way to pay homage to SY, but also to highlight the values of TRANSMISSION and HERITAGE celebrated in hip-hop culture.
The programming features performances by pros and amateurs alike, performance creation workshops for youth, screenings, meetings among organisations specialising in hip-hop, a hip-hop village, and stages open to all.
