Due to ongoing maintenance work and the need to rest certain lawns, some areas of the park are temporarily inaccessible.
La Villette is committed to welcoming all audiences, especially people with disabilities who benefit from reduced rates, as well as their companion. Special seating arrangements are possible. Please inform us of your preference when booking your tickets.
Three buildings in Parc de la Villette are labeled “Tourisme & Handicap” for motor, mental, hearing, and visual impairments.
La Villette, a park accessible to everyone
At La Villette, we are committed to making our spaces and cultural programme accessible to as many people as possible. As part of this approach, we have produced a presentation video about the park and its cultural offer, designed for Deaf audiences and people with visual impairments, featuring French Sign Language (LSF), subtitles and voice-over.
This commitment is also reflected in concrete initiatives implemented on a daily basis:
- guided tours of the park and its architecture in French Sign Language (LSF), led by Deaf guides, for groups and occasionally for individual visitors;
- a selection of performances accessible in LSF and with audio description;
- vibrating vests available for certain performances;
- captioned performances, with the option to request adapted seating when booking.
