INSTALLATION
PARABOLID with les Beaux-Arts de Paris
Installation
All day · Prairie du Cercle
A collective work by ASH, Bahar Kocabey, Héloïse Sailly, and François Toison
Standing at the entrance of the Freestyle Festival and reflected in the Geode, PARABOLID seeks to capture and transmit multiple signals—from a multicoloured past toward an artificial, “hypnocratic” future…
A collective experience in the archaeology of technology, PARABOLID reexamines various “unsightly” elements of the urban environment. It is part of “a society of the moment, of events, of mutation and the ephemeral […]”, reminding us that “art is a complex structure of communication, expression, discovery and invention” (Carlos Cruz-Diez, 2013).
An educational partnership between the Fresco & Art in Context programme at Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Freestyle Festival/La Villette.
