Two works fuelled by a burning need to dance: between ancestral narratives and contemporary beats, Immersive Movement and MukashiihsakuM probe our heritage and that which resists, which transforms, and which pulsates throughout our bodies.

MICHEL «MEECH’» ONOMO · Immersive Movement · Created in 2026 · INITIATIVES D’ARTISTES
Immersive Movement is a choreographic manifesto by Michel Onomo, aka “Meech De France”, which draws on twenty years of dance and the exploration of movement. Driven by an organic breath of inspiration that blends beatbox, strings, and percussion, he has invented the “Ghôst Flow”: a spectral, raw, and precise gesture. An intense journey in which each reverberation of the body becomes a cry, a breath, a burst of humanity to counter the mechanisation of our world.

VALENTINE NAGATA-RAMOS · MukashiihsakuM · Created in 2026
In MukashiihsakuM, choreographer Valentine Nagata-Ramos draws on the wealth of Japanese narratives to explore a world in which humans and supernatural creatures meet and square off. Driven by a 100% breaking trio, she reinvents age-old fables as a means of pondering our instincts, our fragile connection to the living world, and the shifting boundary between the human and the monstrous.

VALENTINE NAGATA-RAMOS is supported by Initiatives d’Artistes en Danses Urbaines, a program co-founded by the Fondation de France and La Villette.
