INTO THE LIGHT: THE EXPO
Light as you’ve never seen it before
INTO THE LIGHT: THE EXPO brings together 12 European artists for an immersive and sensitive exhibition. Spanning over 3000 m², light becomes a tangible material and reveals exceptional works of art. It is an invitation to explore new perceptions and immerse oneself in the poetry that light provides.
Why are we so fascinated by light?
For the first time, INTO THE LIGHT: THE EXPO gathers a generation of artists from across Europe in Paris, hailing from contemporary art, digital cultures, and music. These works reinvent the art of light by exploring its multiple technological, sensory, and visual dimensions to give form to light and reveal the invisible.
Because, contrary to what one might think, light is not an elusive wave. It can be touched, shaped, sculpted. Beyond its primary function, light is now a universal language we use to heal, play, bring joy, or tell stories. It is both a source of emotion and a means of creation.
15 interactive, educational, and luminous installations transform the Grande Halle de la Villette into an extraordinary journey of works, proving that light is above all a spectacle and a celebration.
Initiated and presented by TETRO, producer of light shows and installations, and co-produced with Encore Productions, INTO THE LIGHT: THE EXPO aims to offer a unique space where art and culture, in all their forms, can be experienced and shared by a wide audience.
