HARVEST FESTIVAL
All ages
The summer solstice has passed, and the first harvests of the season are here! Come and watch the wheat harvest in the heart of Paris’s 19th arrondissement. From grain to freshly baked bread, discover the stages of this age-old transformation.
For one day, step into a farmer’s boots and learn traditional agricultural practices: harvesting wheat, tying sheaves, collecting grain, milling flour, and preparing and baking bread. Whether with family or friends, enjoy bread fresh from the wood-fired oven and share a convivial moment celebrating the arrival of summer.
Due to the extreme heat, the Saturday, June 27 programme of the Fête des Blés (Harvest Festival) has been cancelled.
The La Villette Farm will be closed.
The Fête des Blés (Harvest Festival) will still take place on Sunday, June 28.
