35th edition
Open-Air Cinema returns to La Villette this summer!
A staple of the Parisian cultural scene, La Villette’s Open-Air Cinema returns in 2026 to the Prairie du Triangle.
From July 22 to August 16, film lovers are invited to (re)discover the pleasure of open-air screenings—on a blanket or a deckchair, with a snack or a picnic!
Discover what’s in store for this edition:
- Screenings for all ages at 6pm: a selection of intergenerational films, accessible from early evening.
- Screenings at 9pm for classic showings: thanks to a specially designed screen, films can start before nightfall (and finish before the last metro).
- 100% online ticketing: book your deckchairs on villette.com.
The 2026 edition is dedicated to the theme of nature.

- Animated films are screened in French
- All other films are shown in their original version with subtitles
- Free, supervised bicycle parking is available from 5pm (behind the Pavillon Janvier)
- Non-hazardous cutlery is permitted
- Security staff are solely responsible for determining which items are allowed inside the Open-Air Cinema area
- Parc de la Villette is a smoke-free zone in accordance with Decree No. 2025-582 of 27 June 2025 on smoke-free spaces and the prevention of tobacco and vaping product sales to minors
- Minors remain under the responsibility of one or more accompanying adults and cannot, under any circumstances, be placed under the responsibility of La Villette staff
- Food and drink are available on-site
