Olympicorama The Final
2h
To finish on a high note, six of the most memorable events created over six seasons of Olympicorama are once again presented at the Grande Halle, with just as many surprise guests, just before the start of the Olympic Games.
Marathon – Event 5 – Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 6pm
Athens and Philippides, Herodotus and the Battle of Marathon, 42.195 kilometers and the time it takes to cover them, tradition and modernity, long-distance running and stride, high plateaus and myths, Kenya and Ethiopia, stories of men and women, heroes, cheats, feats, surpassing oneself and others, records and tragedies.
High Jump – Event 3 – Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 8pm
Barre, run-up and take-off, clearance, scissors and rollers, costal and ventral, Fosbury and unbeatable records, and the pole too, with bumper, pulses, bends, serial turnarounds and rivalries.
Test 5 • Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 6 p.m.
It’s all about a ball, played by hand, in a playground with lines, zones, two goals and two teams of seven men and seven women who compete to defend and score goals, using a variety of techniques that we need to analyze, including – but not limited to – the back shot, the hip shot, the chabala, the kung-fu, the roucoulette, the Schwenker and the Yago.

Test 4 • Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 8 p.m.
It’s all about starting blocks and false starts, Jamaica, Usain the Lightning and Queen Merlene, Jesse Owens and Hitler, and no doubt even more sprints, like the 200-meter dash, the hurdles and the relay, with fists raised on the podium and anaerobic alactic metabolism.
Test 11 • Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 8 p.m.
It’s all about rings and ropes, fights and rounds, gloves and bandages, straight punches and hooks, uppercuts and swings, attack and counterattack, defense and guard, with clearance, cover, parry, opposition, riposte, footwork and KO, and why not pugilism too, and Cassius Clay for sure, the Olympic champion turned “The Greatest”, the legend Mohamed Ali.
Test 8 • Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 6 p.m.
It’s all about ping and pong, table and racket, ball and net, celluloid and rubber, plastic and pimples, glue and foam, China and China again, hammer and bomb, top, flip, sidespin and contretop, and no doubt other effects, with Mao Zedong, Richard Nixon and ping-pong diplomacy in the crosshairs.
